Kensington is an inner-city suburb in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, 4 km (2.5 mi) north-west of Melbourne's Central Business District, located primarily within the City of Melbourne local government area, with a small cluster of shops in the North of the Suburb located within the City of Moonee Valley. Kensington recorded a population of 10,745 at the 2021 census.
Kensington is known for its village ambiance, its cafes, and a diversity of architecture - including Victorian terraces, cottages, warehouse apartments and new structures in the west of the suburb. The suburb is hilly in sections and contains established tree lined streets.
The suburb is bounded by Racecourse Road to the north, Smithfield Road and the Maribyrnong River to the west, the Sunbury/Werribee railway lines to the south, and Moonee Ponds Creek to the east. Kensington was once home to one of Victoria's major abattoirs and livestock saleyards, an army ordnance depot and a number of factories. The stock yards ceased operation in 1984, prompting significant urban renewal in the area now known as Kensington Banks.
Kensington was named after Kensington in London.[citation needed]
We very happy with service and ability to change with our circumstances due to health problems we where going thru at the times. When you collected the the box I did a check and noticed your strap had been removed.

Brilliant service, brilliant staff and container. It was fascinating watching Matt manoeuvring the GoBox into my driveway via remote control. He levelled it, put some clamps/brackets to secure it and gave me a run down on features. The interior of the container was immaculate and spacious as I got the Large size. The padlock which is mine to keep is pretty sturdy and there is room for another padlock if required for extra security. Overall a flawless and smooth experience and one happy customer!
From start to finish…the Gobox team were amazing! The whole time we had our goods in storage was so so easy. Thank you so much, I am recommending you to everyone I know!

Go box is the way to go if you need store staff for a few months like us. We were moving half of our possessions before staging. Alex was very transparent with fees and her guidance was clear. The whole process was easy thanks to great communication skills. Very proffesional staff, would highly recommend.
Absolutely amazing service. The office team went above and beyond, using Google maps to research the best location to drop our box to avoid it sitting on the foot path and needing a council permit at our new house - they even knew our new bin day before we did! And Tim is a driver extraordinaire. Picked up and parked our box amidst power lines, shrubs, and in a cul-de-sac like a boss. And all without damaging a thing. 100% will use this company again.
