A gobox is a portable storage unit we deliver right to your door. You pack it at your own pace, then we store it securely at our facility or transport it to your new address. It’s mobile self-storage — without the trips back and forth to a storage yard. We service Melbourne and Adelaide.
Three simple steps: we deliver the unit to your driveway, you load it whenever it suits you, and we collect it. From there you can keep it onsite for easy access, store it at our secure warehouse, or have us move it to your new home — locally or interstate.

Our Medium unit (3.6m long) suits a 1–2 bedroom home, and our Large unit (4.8m × 2.2m × 2.2m) comfortably holds a 2–3 bedroom home. Larger homes typically use two units. See our size guide for examples of what fits, or ask our team.

Wherever you like inside your property, providing our delivery system can get access. In most areas you can also place your gobox on the nature strip or in a street car space if allowed by your local council — placing it outside your property usually requires a council permit.
That’s something to check with your local council. Mobile storage is permitted in most municipalities, though you’ll most likely need to arrange a permit before delivery.
By appointment — just give us 48 hours notice and we’ll have your unit ready when you arrive at our Melbourne or Adelaide warehouse.

Yes. Every gobox is made from weatherproof steel with secure locking — keeping your belongings dry, protected and safe, whether the unit is on your driveway or in our monitored storage facility.

Units are rented in 1-month periods; no rent is refunded for part-month rentals. The deposit is not refunded if delivery is cancelled within 24 hours.
Yes. gobox uses SiteLink Web Edition, fully compliant with SAS 70 Type II — a high standard of financial and data security controls, reporting and monitoring.
In Victoria, insurance is not available at your place or in our warehouse — check with your home insurance provider about coverage. In South Australia, insurance is available for purchase both at your place and in our warehouse.
Yes — we can deliver the unit with packing supplies so you can start right away. Talk to our team about what you need.
3000kg is the maximum weight per unit. If it’s exceeded, we can’t transport or relocate the unit until the contents are back under 3000kg.
